Rollable LED flashlight

When mentioned about flashlights, generally people will think of a straight cylindrical sharp, metal or plastic housing. But this flashlight is getting rid of the traditional shape, it looks more like an expanded rug, then you can roll it up into a tube.

This flashlight is composed by two parts: translucent silicone with LED lights, as well as handle with switch and charging port. The lighting part is made of soft silicone, it’s waterproof and anti-shock. When unfold, it with size of 37x28x2cm, and the diameter is about 8 cm after rolled, just fits the hands.

This works won the Red Dot best concept design award in 2013. Designer: Choo Sumin, Kim Byungsoo, Park Hyeryoung.
