LED Christmas lights

In Canberra Australia, David Richard and his family recently installed total 520,165 LED Christmas lights in his house and garden, and break the Guinness Records.

This is the second time that Richard family breaks this record, they had lighted up 331,038 Christmas lights in 2011, and create the world record for the first time, but the record was broke by a family from New York with 346,283 Christmas light in 2012. This year, Richard wins this record again. According to the Guinness Book of records, the wires length used to connect these bulbs actually exceed 31 miles.

Richard said: “I always love Christmas, this is great to light up the beautiful Christmas lights, and share with the neighbors, I also think this is a good opportunity to enhance understanding between neighbors.”
