Longwood led light gardens


Longwood Gardens located in the southeast corner of Pennsylvania, and the side of U.S. 1st Highway, it’s about 33 miles from Philadelphia, and130 miles from New York.

In 1906, a century-old trees lined Botanical Garden was about to be cut down for timber, a industrialist and philanthropist Pierre S. du Pont bought Botanical Garden, and makes these old trees are preserved. Subsequently, he began construction of a unique world-class garden.

Longwood Gardens is like a shining jewel embedded in the historic Brandywine Valley, it is an unmatched beauty and spectacular views of the place. Longwood Gardens has a wide range of layout and activities, such as dazzling fountain, spectacular concerts and performances, exquisite casual cuisine, as well as thrilling scenery, organizes numerous unique event.

Artist Bruce Munro used LED light source with thousands of translucent glass in Philadelphia Longwood Gardens, and made a “Light Forest” so attracted tourists wander in the fantasy world, this exhibition continue until 2012.
